Description
Plants vs CO₂ is an educational science game inspired by tower defense mechanics, where students learn how photosynthesis helps restore balance to Earth’s atmosphere. Set on a polluted planet, players use alien plants to fight clouds of carbon dioxide. Through arcade-style gameplay, students collect key resources such as carbon dioxide, water, and sunlight, which are later used in interactive drag-and-drop activities to generate photosynthesis. Each level combines action, experimentation, and reflection, ending with a short question to reinforce understanding. As difficulty increases, students explore how plants transform light energy into chemical energy, produce oxygen, and support life on Earth. Plants vs CO₂ is ideal for introducing and reinforcing life science concepts in an engaging and age-appropriate way.
