Continental climates typically have a large range in temperature between summer and winter.

Before the Game

What is climate? What is the climate like in a desert? What is the climate like in a rainforest? What is the weather like where we live? Is there a pattern to the weather here? Explain. What happens to the temperature of an area that if further away from the equator? What is the temperature like closer to the equator?
