Description
Philadelphia, 1787. The American experiment is on the verge of failure. The Articles of Confederation no longer work: Congress cannot tax, cannot enforce laws, and cannot prevent states from fighting each other. Without reform, the Union will collapse. Play as a delegate sent by your state to a constitutional convention. You must listen to every argument, gather ideas from all sides, and turn deep disagreements into compromise. The result will determine whether a new constitution can hold the nation together. This is a game about diplomacy, political tension, and the fragile birth of a nation—where compromise is the only path to survival.

Discussion Questions
Before the Game
Should small states and large states have equal influence on government decisions? Why is governmental power a concern? What were the complaints about the Articles of Confederation? Have you ever had to settle a disagreement where neither side got exactly what they wanted, but everyone agreed to the result?
After the Game
How was population used for making government decisions? Why was slavery being discussed? If you chose a path that made the government too weak or too strong, what happened to the 'stability' of the country at the end? At the end of the game, you were graded on your choices - how did your final 'Constitution' compare to the real one from 1787? Was your version more or less 'fair' than the original?
